Lesley at West Somerset Steam Railway crossing
This crossing is just outside of Bicknoller. The railway is a privately owned steam rail running regular services in the area. We heard the train but did not see it. On Lesley's left is a 'kissing gate' --the first of quite a few of these gates that we climbed and crossed.
we are two australian academics with a love of walking and Romantic poetry. The Lake District was a little too Wordsworth for us (and too expensive) so we decided to take the less travelled path (apologies to Robert Frost) and walk the Coleridge Way. Coleridge was a prolific walker so this may be the start of many walks to come.
