Signs near Webber's Post
A typical set of signs in the middle of woodland, before reaching Horner. The woodland signs were accurate, as were the Coleridge Way feather's (once you found them). We found only one sign that had been knocked over and this was close to a town.
we are two australian academics with a love of walking and Romantic poetry. The Lake District was a little too Wordsworth for us (and too expensive) so we decided to take the less travelled path (apologies to Robert Frost) and walk the Coleridge Way. Coleridge was a prolific walker so this may be the start of many walks to come.
